Tucked away in the secluded, untamed mountains of western Nepal, Rara Lake (known locally as the Queen of Lakes) is Nepal's largest lake, stretching over 10 square kilometers of deep sapphire-blue water. Ringed by pristine pine, spruce, and juniper forests and snow-dusted ridges, Rara National Park is a haven for endangered red pandas, musk deer, and migrating waterfowl. The trek takes you through medieval Malla kingdom ruins in Sinja Valley and peaceful Khasa settlements.
A 10-day scenic wilderness adventure including domestic flights to Nepalgunj and Jumla/Talcha, professional guides, national park entry, and lakeside lodge accommodation.
