The Panchase Trek is one of the best short cultural eco-treks in the Annapurna foothills. Rising south-west of Phewa Lake, Panchase Peak (2,517m) is a revered pilgrimage site surrounded by dense biological corridors home to over 100 species of wild orchids, medicinal plants, and colorful birds. The trail commands expansive vistas of three 8,000-meter giants: Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, and Manaslu.
A relaxing 4-day loop starting with a boat ride across Phewa Lake, trekking through Bhumdi, Panchase Bhanjyang, and Bhadaure back to Pokhara.
Detailed daily trekking distances, walking hours & stays
Cross Phewa Lake by wooden boat, climb past the Peace Stupa and forest trails into Bhumdi village.
