Champadevi (2,285m) is a revered hill goddess sanctuary rising above the southwestern rim of the Kathmandu Valley. Starting from Hattiban or Pharping, this enjoyable hike winds along shaded pine ridges before ascending stone staircases to the hilltop stupa and temple shrine. Enjoy a magnificent bird's-eye view of the entire Kathmandu bowl alongside the snow-clad peaks of Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and Gauri Shankar.

8:00 AM hotel pickup and drive to Hattiban / Pharping (1 hr). Begin hiking along the pine-forested ridge on well-maintained paths. Reach the summit ridge of Champadevi (2,285m) after 2.5 hours. Enjoy views of Kathmandu Valley and Himalayas. Descend to Hattiban Resort for lunch. Visit Pharping monastery before driving back to Kathmandu.
