Bardia National Park is the largest and most undisturbed protected wilderness in the lowland Terai of western Nepal. Far less commercialized than Chitwan, Bardia is widely recognized by wildlife photographers and conservationists as the premier destination in Asia for tracking wild Royal Bengal Tigers on foot. The park also shelters wild Asian elephant herds, one-horned rhinos, leopards, and the rare freshwater Gangetic river dolphin in the Geruwa branch of the Karnali River.
A 4-day premier tiger tracking expedition with domestic flights to Nepalgunj, private transfers to Thakurdwara, full-day walking safaris, 4WD jeep drives, and eco-lodge stays.
