rekking to Renjo la Pass is a popular trek among tourists. The most magnificent and picturesque of the eastern mountain ranges rise above the well known town of Namche Bazaar, from where trekkers’ treks up to the Everest base Camp. It towers over numerous panoramic peaks. The trek up to the summit of Kalapatthar, which means "black rock", is a memorable up to 5545m of elevation. The trek includes a visit to Gokyo Lake and over Cho La (La means "pass") and leads you near Cho-Oyu base camp. These excursions will become some of the most memorable of your exotic experiences. During this trip, you will watch festivals and Sherpa customs , including the biggest and holiest worship celebrated at Tyangboche gompa.
A little off the main trekking trail, Thamo and Thame offer untouched Sherpa culture where people have maintained the traditional way of life. They also offer a taste of local culture through home stay accommodation. Cultural groups perform shows for tourists on request. In addition, the jungle near the settlement harbor endangered wildlife species, like musk deer and pheasants.

Everest Gokyo trekking Itinerary (Everest Gokyo treks)
Day 01:Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel
Day 02 : Sight-seeing of Kathmandu: Full day’s sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) & the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Also visit Monkey Temple the Swyambhunath (2000 years old temple) and visit Patan city of fine arts. Return to the hotel.
Day 03 : Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m.) and it takes about 30 minutes. Trek from Lukla to Phakding (2640 m.)
Day 04 : Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.)
Day 05 : Rest at Namche Bazar for acclimatization and excursion around the places.
Day 06 : Trek from Namche Bazaar to Thame (3800m)
Day 07 : Rest at Thame.
Day 08 : Trek from Thame to Lungden via Taranga
Day 09 : Rest Day at Lungden.
Day 10 : Trek from Lungden to Gokyo via Renjo la Pass
